Their work aims to transcend mere entertainment; but rather serves as participatory experiences that connect communities.
The sophomore album was released in February 2025 to critical acclaim, including a coveted spot on the cover of The Wire Magazine.
MDW ceremonies have been performed at international festivals such as Le Guess Who?, REWIRE, Transmission Waves Festival, DUNK, Raw Power Festival, and Afrofuturism Festival presented by Carnegie Hall, just to name a few.

Masma Dream World is an experimental project led by Devi Mambouka, composer and performance artist. With roots in Gabon and Singapore, Mambouka is truly a child of the world. She recalls the rainforest rituals and the presence of ghosts and spirits from her childhood in Gabon before immigrating to The Bronx. In New York, instead of forests, she found herself in record stores, embarking on a spiritual and educational journey through Butoh, DJing and immersing herself NYC experimental scene.
